Senior SDET - Platform [Remote-US]

RemoteRemoteEngineering$198k–$281k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About Us? Actually "About Us" is a section heading. The posting includes "About Us" paragraph. Also "Our Team" maybe part of About Us? The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We need to decide which sections to include: About Us (the company description), Our Team (maybe part of About Us), The Role (description of role), Your Day-to-Day (responsibilities), About You (requirements/qualifications), Bonus Points (maybe skills?), Salary (Pay), Benefits, Work from Home Equipment, Paid Time Off, Personal and Professional Development, Location, Hours. We need to avoid filler. The posting includes specific content for each. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, scam warning, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. We'll produce sections with

headings and content. We need to decide grouping: Could have sections: About Us, Our Team, The Role, Responsibilities (Your Day-to-Day), Requirements (About You), Bonus Points (maybe Skills), Pay (Salary), Benefits (including health benefits, equipment, PTO, development), Location, Hours. But we must avoid thin sections. Perhaps combine some. Let's extract substantive content: About Us paragraph: "Quanata is on a mission to help ensure a better world through context-based insurance solutions. We are an exceptional, customer centered team with a passion for creating innovative technologies, digital products, and brands. We blend some of the best Silicon Valley talent and cutting-edge thinking with the long-term backing of leading insurer, State Farm.Learn more about us and our work at quanata.com" Our Team paragraph: "Quanata, LLC is an insurance technology innovation company that engineers advanced risk prediction and prevention solutions, develops risk-focused acquisition capabilities, and builds/supports a full-stack, flexible, digital & increasingly AI-native insurance platform. This helps our primary clients, State Farm and HiRoad Assurance Company, adapt to evolving market needs. Quanata, LLC is wholly owned and funded by State Farm. As a company that prioritizes an inclusive and positive culture, we believe the core of our success is in hiring talented people — across disciplines — who want to help us make a quantifiable impact." The Role paragraph: "We’re looking for an accomplished, well-rounded Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help build the shared quality engineering platforms, tools, and automation frameworks that enable our QA and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure software. This is a hands-on engineering role at the intersection of software development, quality engineering, security testing, and AI enablement. You’ll turn common testing challenges into reusable solutions, develop and evaluate AI-assisted testing capabilities, and integrate quality and security checks directly into engineering workflows. You’ll collaborate across QA, Engineering, and Security to create solutions teams can trust and adopt at scale. Just as importantly, you’ll help shape shared testing practices, mentor others, and measure how our tools improve coverage, reduce manual effort, and accelerate feedback." Your Day-to-Day: list of bullet points (starting with "Design, build, test, and maintain..." etc). Those are duties. About You: list of requirements (Bachelor’s or Master’s..., Typically 6–8 years..., Strong programming skills..., Broad hands-on testing experience..., Hands-on experience building and evaluating AI-assisted testing solutions..., Experience delivering reusable tooling..., Strong experience with cloud environments..., Hands-on security testing experience...). Those are requirements. Bonus Points: list of bonus items. Salary: "$198,000 to $281,000**Please note that the final salary offered will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, and experience, as well as the internal salary structure at Quanata. Our aim is to offer a competitive and equitable compensation package that reflects the candidate's expertise and contributions to our organization." Benefits: "We provide a wide variety of health, wellness and other benefits. These include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and supplemental income plans for you and your dependents, a Headspace app subscription, monthly wellness allowance and a 401(k) Plan with a company match.Work from Home Equipment: Given our virtual environment— in order to set you up for success at home, a one-time payment of $2K will be provided to cover the purchase of in-home office equipment and furniture at your discretion. Also, our teams work with MacBook Pros, which we will deliver to you fully provisioned prior to your first day.Paid Time Off: All employees accrue four weeks of PTO in their first year of employment. New parents receive twelve weeks of fully paid parental leave which may be taken within one year after the birth and/or adoption of a child. The twelve weeks is applicable to both birthing and non-birthing parent.Personal and Professional Development: We’re committed to investing in and helping our people grow personally and professionally. All employees receive up to $5000 each year for professional learning, continuing education and career development. All team members also receive LinkedIn Learning subscriptions and access to multiple different coaching opportunities through BetterUp." Location: "We are a remote-first company for most positions so you may work from anywhere you like in the U.S, excluding U.S. territories. For most positions, occasional travel may be requested or encouraged but is not required. Some positions might require travel per the job description provided to the employee. Employees based in the San Francisco Bay Area or in Providence, Rhode Island may commute to one of our local offices as desired." Hours: "We maintain core meeting hours from 9AM - 2PM Pacific time for collaborating with team members across all time zones." We should not include EEO etc. Now produce HTML. We need to use

    for section headings. Use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We need to decide which content is list vs prose. Your Day-to-Day: list of duties, each sentence starts with a verb. We'll make

      • each. About You: list of requirements, each bullet. Bonus Points: list. Benefits: could be list of benefits items (medical, dental, vision, life insurance..., Headspace app..., monthly wellness allowance..., 401(k) Plan..., Work from Home Equipment..., Paid Time Off..., Personal and Professional Development...). Might be many items; we can list them. Location and Hours: prose. About Us and Our Team and The Role: prose. We need to avoid duplication. Also note that "About Us" heading maybe not needed if we have "Our Team" separate? But we can include both. We must not include filler like "Learn more about us and our work at quanata.com" - that's substantive? It's a link; we can keep as text. Now produce HTML. Structure:

        About Us

        ...

        Our Team

        ...

        The Role

        ...
