Key Responsibilities
- Agile Facilitation — Lead all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) with a focus on flow, transparency, and predictable delivery.
- SAFe Alignment — Support PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and cross‑team coordination to ensure alignment with ART objectives.
- Team Coaching — Mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and Lean thinking; elevate team maturity and self‑organization.
- Impediment Removal — Identify, track, and eliminate blockers; escalate risks and dependencies across teams and ART leadership.
- Delivery Optimization — Use metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, and predictability to guide continuous improvement.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, QA, DevOps, and Architecture to ensure clarity of requirements, technical readiness, and delivery alignment.
- Quality & Compliance — Promote engineering excellence, automated testing, CI/CD adoption, and adherence to enterprise governance standards.
- Stakeholder Communication — Provide clear, concise updates on team progress, risks, and outcomes to ART leadership and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting application development teams in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience working within SAFe (Agile Release Trains, PI Planning, cross‑team dependency management).
- Proven success coaching teams through Agile maturity growth and delivering high‑impact software solutions.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps).
- Ability to analyze delivery metrics and use data to drive decision‑making and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict‑resolution, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe certifications (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner).
- Experience supporting financial‑services or regulated‑industry application development.
- Background in coaching multiple teams simultaneously within a scaled Agile environment.
- Familiarity with cloud‑native development, microservices, or API‑driven architectures.
