Senior Scrum Master

About the role

The Senior Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams on Agile practices, and ensuring that the team is aligned with the product vision.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach teams on Agile practices and Scrum principles
• Ensure alignment between the team and the product vision
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of products
• Support the implementation of scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe

Requirements

• 4 + years in a Scrum Master role, Product Management role, or Product Engineering role, with knowledge of scaled agile frameworks
• Thorough knowledge and use of an agile tool, i.e., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, VersionOne
• Background in agile delivery, project management, engineering, or product management
• Have leveraged some Scaled Agile framework (PI planning) – SAFe or any other framework
• Extensive knowledge of JIRA or any other agile platform (Rally, VersionOne)
• Ability to work across functional groups

Qualifications

• Must be onsite 1 to 2 days per week in either Boston, MA or Lawrence, MA Must be local
• 6+ months duration

Skills

• Scrum Master role, Product Management role, or Product Engineering role
• Knowledge of scaled agile frameworks
• Agile tool proficiency (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, VersionOne)
• Athletic background in agile delivery, project management, engineering, or product management
• Leverage of scaled agile frameworks (PI planning) – SAFe or any other framework
• Extensive knowledge of JIRA or any other agile platform (Rally, VersionOne)
• Ability to work across functional groups

Schedule

Remote work is not available. The Senior Scrum Master must be onsite 1 to 2 days per week in either Boston, MA or Lawrence, MA.
