About the role
The Senior Vaccine Analytical Research & Development Scientist plays a crucial role in our mission to discover and develop vaccines. This role focuses on analytical problem-solving, method development, and project management within the context of vaccine research and development.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex analytical problems using advanced separation science techniques (HPLC, CE, LC-MS, etc.)
- Develop and validate analytical methods for vaccine components and formulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support vaccine process development and characterization
- Evaluate new technologies and contribute to innovation within the industry
- Prepare technical documents for regulatory submissions
- Document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions following ALCOA principles
Requirements
- Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical engineering or related field, or Master's degree with 4+ years of industry experience
- Extensive experience with chromatography and separation science techniques
- Proven track record of developing and validating analytical methods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Knowledge of protein chemistry, structural biology, and biochemistry
- Experience with automated laboratory instrumentation and data analysis
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and standards

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
