Senior Scientist/Principal Scientist, Protein Design & Modeling

Responsibilities

• Hands-on execution of complex protein design projects with high autonomy
• Translate defined scientific strategies into concrete computational approaches and drive them through to completion independently
• Work closely with scientific leadership and experimental teams
• Contribute to the formation of new companies built on computational protein design capabilities

Requirements

• PhD in Computational Biology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, or a related field with 5+ years of industry experience in computational protein design and/or modeling
• Deeply grounded in structural biology with hands-on expertise in protein structure analysis, structure-guided design, and mechanistic reasoning
• Broadly experienced across diverse protein types including enzymes, therapeutic antibodies, miniproteins, multi-domain proteins, and able to apply this knowledge to novel contexts
• Self-directed executor who can manage workflow, troubleshoot independently, and deliver high-quality results without close supervision
• Familiarity with modern protein ML tools such as generative design, structural modeling, and functional prediction frameworks
• Curiosity and current with the literature, actively identifying and testing new computational methods with therapeutic relevance
• Collaborative team player who works effectively with scientists from diverse experimental and computational backgrounds
