Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science
- Proven track record as a laboratory experimentalist with experience working with biological systems (cells/cell lysates/ex vivo tissues etc.)
- High attention to detail, creativity in problem solving, strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to successfully work independently and as part of teams

Responsibilities
- Responsible for independently solving problems to contribute to drug discovery programs in Research / Early Development (RED) Oncology from target identification up through support of early clinical development
- Supporting and driving the initiation of projects and programs to support the Oncology pipeline
- Responsible for independently planning and performing experiments, generating and analyzing data, and presenting results and next steps to support the development of drug discovery programs in the Oncology pipeline
- Responsible for contributing to the identification of new targets for drug discovery efforts
- Collaborates with other scientists in RED ONC and R&D functions and supports cross team and cross site activities to progress drug development programs in Oncology activities
- Works across portfolio assets to drive an integrated strategy with indication, MOA, or modality focus
- Fosters creativity and motivation between scientists
- Ensures that laboratory notebooks are consistently updated, audited, and well maintained
- Takes initiative in keeping current with field of specialty and contributes to scientific literature
