About the role
As a key member of our autonomy and robotics team, you will be responsible for developing advanced predictive maintenance algorithms that enhance the reliability and efficiency of marine systems. Your work will involve analyzing sensor data, implementing machine learning models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate these solutions into existing systems.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance algorithms using machine learning techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to analyze sensor data and identify patterns indicative of potential failures.
- Design and test new algorithms to improve system performance and reduce downtime.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate predictive maintenance solutions into marine systems.
- Contribute to the documentation and presentation of research findings and project progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with machine learning and data analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
- Knowledge of marine systems and predictive maintenance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Background in signal processing and statistical analysis.
- Experience with marine systems and predictive maintenance.
Skills
- Proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib or Seaborn.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
