About the role
ERG seeks a senior scientist/engineer to support our work for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This position involves providing research support on projects for the U.S. EPA, states, and nonprofit organizations, including reviews of Superfund site documents, mathematical modeling, and report writing and editing. The role requires close collaboration with diverse practices across ERG and frequent work with employees from related disciplines. Data analysis and interpretation of scientific results will be required for some projects.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Ph.D. plus 5 years of experience with hazardous waste remediation
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
- Applied experience with quantitative research activities in an academic or professional setting
