About the role
The Bioanalysis group in Tarrytown, NY, is seeking a Senior Scientist (Principal Investigator) to serve as the lead for multiple clinical and/or nonclinical programs. This role involves overseeing all study-related activities, coordinating resources, providing scientific guidance, troubleshooting assay performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serves as PI for multiple clinical and/or nonclinical programs.
- Oversee protocol review, approval of bioanalytical data, and deviation assessment.
- Coordinate run planning and resource allocation for multiple concurrent studies/programs.
- Provide scientific guidance to laboratory staff and make data-related decisions.
- Lead initiatives to troubleshoot assay performance and validate results.
- Ensure the scientific quality of data and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare data summaries, draw conclusions, and present findings logically.
- Communicate with internal and external collaborators.
- Deliver bioanalytical data and reports to support internal milestones and regulatory filings.
- Participate in and present work at sub-team/group meetings and department meetings.
- Present data at department meetings and contribute to posters or manuscripts.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory work and documentation according to company SOPs, BMPs, and regulations (GLP, GCP).
- Correspond with the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) regarding internal audits pertinent to the study.
- Train on and execute bioanalytical methods as needed.
- Support other teams or groups as needed.
- Coordinate and perform method validation/qualification activities.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree with 8+ years of relevant post-degree experience or PhD with 0-3 years of relevant post-degree experience.
- Significant experience in ensuring the quality of documentation and data.
- Knowledgeable about immunology and experience with bioanalysis assays such as ELISAs or MSD chemiluminescent assays.
- Strong collaborator and communicator who can work cross-functionally to achieve group and departmental objectives.
- Experience working in a high-performing team and ability to provide higher-level oversight, guidance, and leadership.
- Able to anticipate and adapt to changing priorities and deliverables.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree with 8+ years of relevant post-degree experience or PhD with 0-3 years of relevant post-degree experience.

Pay
$109,900.00 - $179,300.00 annually
