Scheduling Leadership & Owner Advocacy

Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated master schedules for hyperscale and mission-critical data center construction projects. Serve as the owner’s scheduling representative, providing objective analysis of contractor and program schedules. Translate project and client objectives into clear, executable scheduling strategies. Communicate schedule status, risks, and recovery strategies clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preconstruction & Planning Support

Support preconstruction efforts including baseline schedule development, phasing plans, milestone definition, and constructability sequencing. Collaborate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedules reflect realistic durations, logic, and constraints. Support early identification of schedule risks related to long-lead equipment, permitting, utility coordination, and commissioning readiness.

Construction & Program Controls

  • Maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules, ensuring logic integrity, critical path accuracy, and progress validation.
  • Review and analyze contractor updates, time impact analyses, and schedule recovery plans.
  • Support schedule integration across multiple workstreams including MEP, CSA, commissioning (L1–L5), and turnover activities.
  • Leverage schedule data to support forecasting, earned value concepts, and executive-level reporting.

Tools, Reporting & Collaboration

  • Utilize Primavera P6 as the primary scheduling platform; integrate schedule data with Procore and other project controls systems as required.
  • Apply SmartPM or similar analytics tools (where applicable) to identify trends, risks, and performance issues.
  • Prepare clear schedule narratives, dashboards, and visualizations to support client and leadership reporting.
  • Cook up and coordinate closely with project managers, construction managers, commissioning teams, and client representatives.

Technology, Digital Tools & AI-Enabled Efficiency

  • Leverage AI-enabled and digital tools to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support consistent, high-quality work output.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and demonstrate a continuous learning mindset, seeking out new technologies, skills, and methods that elevate individual and team performance.
  • Adapt to emerging technologies and evolving digital workflows, actively supporting the integration and adoption of innovative tools across the organization.

Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget

  • Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned.

Position Requirements (ADVANCED level for all the following)

  • Strong working knowledge of construction scheduling principles for large, complex, mission-critical or data center projects.
  • Experience developing and managing schedules across preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Primavera P6; working knowledge of Procore required.
  • Experience with SmartPM or similar schedule analytics tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of mission-critical construction sequencing, including MEP-intensive work and commissioning integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify schedule risks, analyze impacts, and develop mitigation or recovery strategies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present schedule information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Some experience guiding or coordinating the work of junior staff or supporting team development.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with remote and onsite teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve scheduling and reporting efficiency.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Frequently working at a computer and manipulating input devices.
  • Occasionally required to visit active construction sites, including data center environments with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and uneven surfaces.
  • On occasion, the employee may move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Travel Requirements

  • 75–100% travel across the U.S. unless assigned to an extended project.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to rent vehicles.
  • Travel is project-dependent and may include periodic visits to client sites, meetings, or project reviews.

Effective May 7, 2025, and in accordance with U.S. federal regulations for domestic air travel, a valid REAL ID (or an acceptable alternative, such as a passport) is required for travel associated with this position.

Travel may involve transportation by car or plane depending on business needs.

Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meetings for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc.
