About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our team to support scheduling as a project controls function on a large-scale project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering construction project control services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update owners' Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large-scale capital programs.
  • Interface with project stakeholders as trusted advisors to provide guidance and recommendations.
  • Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.
  • Conduct schedule resource loading and leveling.
  • Consolidate contractors' schedules to incorporate into the IMS.
  • Assess impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
  • Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in developing corrective actions.
  • Apply EVM methodology to measure project progress.
  • Review schedules with project team members regularly to ensure accurate and timely data.
  • Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis periodically.
  • Maintain records of scope changes, trends, and variances that may affect schedule performance.
  • Ensure the credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
  • Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
  • Provide milestone tracking, individual project schedules, portfolio master scheduling, and procurement master schedules regularly.
  • Facilitate interactive planning and coordination workshops for critical facility shutdowns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.
  • Direct experience working on teams within a complex matrix environment.
  • Expertise using Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant industry certification preferred.

Project/Program Specifications

  • Market sector experience: Life Science preferred but not required.
  • Project/program size: Projects ranging from $100k to $70M; up to 40 projects yearly.

Pay

The minimum salary for the senior scheduler is $140,000 annually, and the maximum salary for the position is $165,000 annually. Compensation will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
