About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our team to support scheduling as a project controls function on a large-scale project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering construction project control services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update owners' Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large-scale capital programs.
  • Interface with project stakeholders as trusted advisors to provide guidance and recommendations.
  • Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.
  • Conduct schedule resource loading and leveling.
  • Consolidate contractors' schedules to incorporate into the IMS.
  • Assess impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
  • Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in developing corrective actions.
  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology to measure project progress.
  • Review schedules with project team members regularly to ensure accurate and timely data.
  • Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis periodically.
  • Maintain records of scope changes, trends, and variances affecting schedule performance.
  • Ensure credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
  • Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
  • Develop and manage project schedules in collaboration with general contractors and trade partners.
  • Incorporate schedule updates based on progress, sequencing changes, or updated scopes of work.
  • Facilitate meetings for schedule updates and reviews.
  • Develop report-outs with schedule-relevant data, including plan vs. actual, trends, and projected completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.
  • Direct experience working on teams within a complex matrix environment.
  • Expertise using Primavera P6.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Market sector experience: Advanced manufacturing/industrial environment with multinational clients.
  • Project/program size: Greater than $1B.
  • Software requirements: Primavera P6.

Pay

The salary range for this full-time role is $150K–$180K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent base salary only.
