Responsibilities
- Analyze construction schedules and develop master program schedules.
- Perform delay analysis and implement best practices for scheduling requirements in contract documents.
- Monitor schedule risk and provide reporting on schedule status and risk to project teams.
- Provide recovery schedule recommendations and collaborate with project stakeholders on schedule issues.
- Lead schedule management, analysis, and control support for assigned projects and programs.
- Ensure strategic and tactical support is provided to project teams and clients throughout the full project or program lifecycle.
- Develop and manage schedule data and analysis for long-term support of projects and programs.
- Work with project management and/or project controls managers to develop project control and project execution plans.
- Supervise and oversee schedule control efforts, including guidance and oversight of the schedule management system.
- Validate and report on schedule performance against the baseline schedule, highlighting bottlenecks and delays and proposing corrective actions.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve schedule performance and reduce time to completion.
- Establish and ensure adherence to a standard HPM Work Breakdown Structure for consistent data capture in reporting and analytics.
- Provide forensic analysis for claims defense or mitigation, reviewing schedules for progress, warning signs, identifying critical path, and aligning cost and schedule.
- Support review and validation of contractor pay requests and change requests from a progress and time impact standpoint.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Building Science, Accounting, or Finance or related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of project management or control solutions experience on major projects and programs.
- Experience with Procore or other project management information systems.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with databases (MS Access), Power BI, and dashboard development is preferred.
- Experience working with SmartPM.
- Proficient in CPM Scheduling utilizing Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Experience working in a consultancy or owner organization is an asset.
- Ability to be flexible/adaptable in evolving procedures and work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Driver's License Required.

- Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
- Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight 50 lbs; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
- Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
