About the role
Support and enhance an industrial SCADA platform that underpins critical energy operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot system health, performance, and data integrity.
- Develop monitoring, logging, and incident-response processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform reliability and scalability.
- Create automation scripts using Python and SQL, support database optimization, and ensure seamless integration with PLCs, IIoT devices, MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus.
- Maintain standardized data structures and troubleshooting guides.
- Serve as a technical escalation point and contribute to operational standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of SCADA integration or support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Ignition SCADA and relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency in programming with Python or similar languages.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and Linux environments.
- Ability to obtain Ignition Gold Certification within 6 months.
