Senior SAP Treasury Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an executive-ready, Senior SAP Treasury Consultant to lead strategic Treasury transformations for a major industrial products client. This is not a hands-on-keyboard role alone; we need a high-caliber advisory leader who can navigate complex client politics, evaluate legacy design frameworks, and influence C-suite decision-makers, including the CFO, Treasurer, and executive leadership. In this role, you will step into an ongoing strategic engagement to realign client expectations, evaluate existing Treasury architectures, and drive the implementation of a scalable, best-practice SAP Treasury environment through 2027. Location: Parsippany, NJ. The role requires onsite presence four days per week (hybrid model).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted advisor to the CFO, Treasurer, and executive stakeholders.
• Articulate Treasury strategy, align design with corporate goals, and manage client expectations.
• Evaluate legacy and existing Treasury design frameworks to identify flaws and mitigate risk.
• Lead the development of a viable, high-performing SAP Treasury architecture.
• Leverage deep SAP Treasury functional and configuration expertise to oversee complex implementations.
• Guide end-to-end Treasury process implementations and functional integrations.
• Navigate high-friction client dynamics with authority, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
• Turn around troubled design tracks and re-establish technical credibility.
• Drive critical alignment across stakeholders under tight timelines.
• Support the implementation of a scalable, best-practice SAP Treasury environment through 2027.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience equivalent to Band 9, Principal, or Senior Director level in enterprise consulting.
• Extensive deep-dive experience across SAP Treasury modules, including TRM, IHC, Cash Management, Risk Management, and Financial Payments.
• Proven track record presenting to and influencing CFOs, Corporate Treasurers, and finance executives.
• Experience stepping into ongoing, complex client environments and assessing flawed designs.
• Demonstrated ability to drive critical alignment and resolve complex client challenges under tight timelines.
• Ability to serve as an executive-level strategic advisor while also providing deep SAP Treasury functional expertise.
• Ability to be onsite in Parsippany, NJ four days per week.

• Experience leading strategic SAP Treasury transformations for large industrial or manufacturing organizations.
• Experience managing troubled engagements or turning around complex Treasury design tracks.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and escalation leadership skills.
• Experience guiding SAP Treasury architecture decisions through implementation and organizational change.
• Experience supporting long-term transformation roadmaps through 2027.

Pay

Compensation range: $120‑150 per hour.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule with onsite requirement in Parsippany, NJ four days per week.
