Senior SAP Specialist
About the role
Computacenter, Europe and US largest independent IT business, are looking for a Senior SAP Specialist within the SAP Logistic (LO) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) domains. In Computacenter, the role of an SAP Specialist encompasses traditional disciplines like solution, business, systems analyst, and project management, making the position varied and challenging.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with internal IS staff, business program managers, and third-party suppliers and partners.
- Take ownership of a successful end-to-end system test, before managing the business test cycle through to a positive conclusion.
- Provide the interface between business stakeholders and IS development teams, to elicit, challenge, prioritize, and document requirements.
- Ensure that systems development is consistent with the defined specifications and that cross-platform requirements deliverables are aligned effectively.
- Manage third-level support of existing warehousing systems, such as SAP WM and EWM.
- Manage third-level support of existing third-party warehouse systems and relevant add-ons.
- Proactively maintain and enhance solutions in areas of SAP SCM and integrated 3PLs.
- Create and update SAP documentation, including process and training documentation, both written and visual.
- Communicate, document, and demonstrate new processes and business change request releases.
- Attend, participate, and communicate the outcomes and actions from discovery sessions, meetings, and conferences.
- Work on assignments and business improvement projects that are complex in nature.
- Resolve problems and make recommendations with focused judgment and positive initiative.
- Own to resolution attitude with open communication channels and promote intuitive ways to knowledge transfer across the team.
- Communicate verbally and in writing, with keen listening skills.
- Experience with working with third-party providers.

What you have
- Likely eligible to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience building queries in SAP.
- SAP or ERP implementation experience, either as a consultant or as a user, would be beneficial.
- Strong technical and config experience of E2E Logistic and Supply Chain Management processes in SAP ECC.
- Knowledge of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) will be an advantage.
- Experience of implementing and enhancing solutions in areas of SAP SCM and integrated 3PLs.
- Adequate experience in EDI/IDOCS/XML.
- A good understanding of end-to-end business processes in an SAP environment, such as Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay.
- Strong knowledge and experience of SAP, Salesforce CRM, MS Office, and MS Teams.
- Solid technical and analytical skills, with ability to interpret & present data clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, being able to identify innovative yet practical solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to be hands-on and effectively delegate where appropriate with a self-motivated, can-do attitude that leads by example.
- Ability to collaborate and work with other team members and cross-functional in other areas of the business.
