About the Role

A self-motivated, forward-thinking Senior Salesforce Administrator responsible for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) application and technical support. This role involves leveraging application functionality, designing and deploying custom workflows, managing vendor relationships, maintaining professional working relationships with end users, and serving as the highest level of troubleshooting expertise for GTE.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Salesforce FSC platform initiatives and enhancements by partnering with business and technology leaders to define scope, requirements, success criteria, and delivery approach.
  • Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, permissions, automations, and data rules using platform best practices.
  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and validate work delivered by the implementation partner.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce FSC components, including objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and user interface configurations.
  • Design and develop advanced flows and automation to support end-to-end operational processes across the credit union.
  • Configure permission sets, profiles, role hierarchy, and group membership to ensure secure and appropriate access.
  • Design and manage queues, routing rules, and assignment logic for efficient case and interaction handling.
  • Prepare an annual application plan for mission-critical or enterprise-level applications, including disaster recovery plans, and participate in testing those plans.
  • Lead the design and building of integrations between Salesforce and core banking platforms, digital channels, data warehouses, and third-party systems.
  • Define data mapping, transformation rules, and integration logic to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Own error handling, reconciliation, and exception management for integrated data flows to ensure data integrity and timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with middleware teams and external vendors to resolve integration defects or performance issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce FSC platform stakeholders, coordinating delivery and issue resolution across business teams, technology services, and vendors.
  • Own Salesforce FSC release management and platform upgrades, including deployment planning, testing coordination, change communication, and post-release validation.
  • Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and other Federal laws, including the U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.

Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification required.
  • 5+ years administering Salesforce (FSC preferred), including automation, security, and data governance.
  • Experience in a credit union or financial industry is required.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in IT, business, or equivalent educational or work experience.

  • Knowledge of software and applications used to support report development, including SQL, Microsoft 365, and Visio.
  • General understanding of programming, database design and development, data sources, and data feeds.
  • Experience with executing all forms of testing (Regression, Functional, Stress, and Negative) and knowledge of software testing SDLC practices and quality assurance techniques.
  • Working knowledge of client-server concepts and familiarity with various technologies used within technology services and the IT industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.
  • Motivated to learn new business and technical concepts.

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (9:00 am to 5:00 pm), with additional hours as necessary.
  • Hybrid work arrangement (in-office or remote), subject to change by management with appropriate notice.
