About the role

The Senior Salesforce Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise solutions on the Salesforce platform. They collaborate closely with various teams including Product Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality CRM capabilities, integrations, workflow automation, and customer-centric digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Technical implementations: Develop and maintain Salesforce capabilities, system enhancements such as new features, integrations and automation. Design, develop, unit test, and deploy secure, scalable out of the box and custom Apex Solutions including triggers, batch jobs, REST Services, as well as Lightning Components. Write, optimize, and debug SQL queries across standard and custom objects in complex data models. Develop and maintain integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, Workato and Platform Events.
  • Collaboration: Experience with agile processes like scrum and understanding of delivering incremental value is required. Partner with teams in the organization to analyze requirements and translate complex technical requirements into Salesforce solutions; including determining if they should be solved with configurations or customizations. Support end users with troubleshooting, training and best practices. Communicate often and proactively to Stakeholders and partners. Partner with product owners and stakeholders to guide prioritization of features, and deliver based on aligned priorities.
  • Security and Scalability: Ensure compliance with security standards, while building scalable user friendly solutions. Adhere to established coding standards, deployment process (CI/CD), and data integrity protocols. Also includes integration design and managing complex integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and code reviews for junior team members to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Establish a culture of continuous improvement by actively evaluating new Salesforce features, including Agentforce, to enhance business efficiency.
  • Training and Support: Develops guidelines, documentation. Provide high-tier technical support to ensure the successful adoption of system changes and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field with 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Experience with developing on Salesforce Revenue cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ platforms.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Apex, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, and Salesforce DX (SFDX) development.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with foundational experience in Java for web application development.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Workato, Platform Events, and OAuth-based authentication.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Platform (LWC, Aura, Lightning App Builder) focusing on reusable component architecture and UI optimization.
  • Experience working with Marketing Cloud integrations to support campaigns and communications.
  • Certification as a Salesforce Certified Developer
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business-friendly language.
  • A solid track record of developing in complex Salesforce environments, including business process configuration, security, and reporting.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with experience in automation and an understanding of the interactions between people, processes, and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience working in Agile environments, with the ability to pivot quickly when business strategies change.
  • Ability to work with XML, Java and Web Service based integrations.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies, with 4+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release cycles.
  • Strong Problem-solving abilities and work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Experience with FinTech
  • Experience with Salesforce Revenue cloud, Agentforce implementing AI-driven automation and Agentforce capabilities within Salesforce ecosystems
