About the role

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to build scalable Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and REST/SOAP integrations with Copado CI/CD release management. This position is full-time and hybrid in Trenton, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy solutions in Salesforce and integrate Salesforce with external enterprise systems.
  • Work with program offices to gather and evaluate business requirements.
  • Build declarative and custom programmatic solutions.
  • Ensure that systems meet technical specifications, performance standards, and security mandates.
  • Translate functional business requirements into technical design specifications and architectural options.
  • Define system landscapes, identify technical gaps, and implement end-to-end solutions.
  • Build and execute automated unit tests with high code coverage, supporting QA and regression testing cycles.
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Work within an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in full lifecycle application development (analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment) with primary focus on Salesforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and enterprise systems integration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Sharing Rules, Security/Permission Sets).
  • Advanced programmatic development experience using Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch/Queueable), Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Strong experience designing and consuming Salesforce Web Services (REST, SOAP), Bulk API, and Metadata API for system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps and release management using Copado and Git-based version control.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer (PD1/PD2) or Administrator Certifications.

Pay

$60 - $70 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.

Full-time, hybrid position based in Trenton, NJ.

Physical Demands

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
