About the role
The Senior Sales Support Associate - Structured provides critical operational and sales support for large-ticket structured finance transactions. This role partners closely with Sales, Customers, Vendors, Dealers, Attorneys, and internal Operations teams to ensure transactions progress efficiently from application through funding and booking.
Responsibilities
- Manage structured transaction workflow from application submission through documentation, audit, funding, and final booking.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate all transaction documentation for structured finance deals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Vendors, Dealers, Customers, Partners, and Attorneys throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Ensure all customer documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant before funding.
- Cooky with legal counsel regarding documentation preparation and negotiation.
- Negotiate standard and non-standard contract requests with customers and attorneys.
- Provide timely updates and support to the Sales team regarding transaction status and customer requirements.
- Aid Sales with contract management to facilitate successful transaction closings.
- Ensure lease and loan documentation comply with applicable policies and requirements.
- Resolve customer issues by providing practical and timely solutions.
- Participate in weekly sales forecasting activities.
- Monitor transaction pipelines and ensure deals remain on schedule for funding and booking.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Contract Management teams throughout the closing process.
- Maintain established service levels and quality standards.
- Support direct sales initiatives involving structured finance transactions.
- Train and mentor new team members as assigned.
Requirements
- Extensive experience preparing documentation for large-ticket loan and lease transactions.
- Hands-on experience managing non-real estate structured transactions ranging from $5 million to $60 million.
- Strong knowledge of equipment financing and equipment lease documentation.
- Experience documenting and closing Franchise Finance transactions up to $15 million.
- Thorough understanding of Blue Water and Brown Water equipment financing.
- Experience handling documentation involving titled vehicles.
- Familiarity with UCC filings and Fixture Filings.
- Experience coordinating documentation preparation with attorneys.
- Experience preparing complete funding packages in accordance with internal closing checklists.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
