Senior Sales Specialist, Analytics, ISV

About the role

The role of Data & AI Sales Specialist at Amazon involves driving growth by helping customers build modern data foundations that power Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced analytics at scale. You will work backwards from customer goals to create strategic plans that align AWS solutions with their desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory.
• Meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
• Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
• Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS analytics services.
• Accelerate customer adoption of Amazon analytics services.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline leveraging sales force automation tools and best practices.
• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 3+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience.
• 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
• 5+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.

Qualifications

• Experience developing detailed go to market plans.
• Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business.
• Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
• Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects for global customers.
• (Technical or educational) experience in Engineering or Computer Science.

Skills

• Strategic sales leadership.
• Deep technical and business acumen in modern data, analytics, and AI platforms.
• Ability to translate complex data and AI architectures into clear business value.
• Success in building consensus across organizations.
• Understanding of the technical architecture of modern lakehouse and AI platforms.
• Business implications of moving from fragmented data estates to unified, AI-ready foundations.

Base salary range for this position is listed below. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
