Senior Sales Executive

About the role
As a Sr. Sales Executive, you will develop and grow new customer accounts in the legal community within an assigned territory consisting of a large base of small to mid-sized law firms. You will utilize prospecting and consultative selling skills, high energy, and initiative to identify opportunities for FindLaw’s web-based marketing and advertising solutions. You will also partner with our internal Account Management team to ensure post-sales satisfaction and retention of existing FindLaw customers.
Responsibilities
- Attain sales targets and quota on a monthly basis in an assigned territory.
- Consult with clients regarding web-based marketing strategies and solutions that meet their business needs and improve their ability to generate business.
- Strategically grow a customer base through prospecting and cold calling.
- Demonstrate technical aptitude with MS Office, internet applications, and Salesforce.com.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding existing and new clients to identify and resolve client concerns, and establish and maintain client relationships.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in outside sales in a professional B2B environment.
- Proven track record of sales success, fast growth, and consistently achieving performance at 100%+.
- Previous sales experience in an online/advertising environment is a plus.
- Working knowledge of sales process, methods, and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret marketplace needs and translate them into products and/or services.
- Proven organization skills, effective time management, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to be actively in the field on most business days with some overnight travel based on territory to various client sites.

Pay
$75,000 base salary with uncapped commission, averaging $80,000–$150,000. At quota, top earners exceed $200,000 OTE.
