About the role
Coordinate, collect, disseminate, and intervene in a manner that anticipates, prevents, identifies, evaluates, and controls hazards. Maintain continuous survey readiness through compliance with regulations from various regulatory agencies. Implement and maintain compliance of the Environment of Care (EOC) program, including fire, hazardous materials safety and security/waste/utilities/emergency management (EM). Maintain documentation of findings and improvements. Identify risks based on regulatory interpretation and other methods, and apply to policy creation. Monitor potential and actual environmental hazards. Lead emergency coordination (EC) rounding activities, EC/EM related education, and EOC/EM Committee(s).

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Certification specializing in Health Safety preferred. Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional preferred.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
