Senior Robotics Platform Engineer (Robotics/Infra)

About the role

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Technical Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own the ROS2 and Zenoh communications and middleware layer for two product lines
• Maintain and evolve Docker containers for reliable software deployment in the field
• Build diagnostics and observability tools for monitoring system health
• Define and manage deployment processes for software updates to hardware
• Develop a roadmap for unifying drone and MHEV architectures over time
• Support both product teams flexibly as priorities shift

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with robotics systems such as drones or autonomous vehicles
• Deep expertise in ROS2, including middleware and system integration
• Production experience using Docker in robotics or embedded contexts
• Strong diagnostic skills for distributed systems, focusing on observability and logging strategies
• Proactive problem solver who can drive solutions independently

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
