About the Role

The Advanced Radar RF & Design Department has an immediate need for a Senior Radio Frequency (RF) System Analysis Engineer supporting the Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) production and sustainment program. This position resides within the Radar Power Production Design Support section that supports the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Develop analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution.
  • Perform trade studies to optimize system performance and future developments.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers to develop and implement solutions.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk.
  • Generate technical reports for management and customer presentations.
  • Provide daily on-site support (not open to remote work).
  • Travel approximately 15% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related STEM discipline (e.g., Math, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF data analysis, fault isolation, and troubleshooting to WRA/LRU/Sub-system level.
  • Proficiency with RF-related equipment: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, and DMMs.
  • Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA).
  • Extensive knowledge of Digital Receiver Exciter (DREX) Subassemblies.
  • Experience working on a production program.
  • Experience generating analysis tools using MATLAB.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued SCI/SAP clearance.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations in a fast-paced, dynamic, production environment.
  • Experience generating and presenting preliminary and critical design reviews.
  • Prior experience delivering technical briefs or presentations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range is representative of all experience levels and considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
