Senior Revenue Analyst

About the role

Autodesk is undergoing a significant back-office transformation and seeks a Senior Revenue Analyst to assist in this change for Revenue Accounting. You will collaborate with manager, Revenue Accounting, Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders, provide guidance to the project team, assist in UAT initiatives, and help roll out system and process changes organization-wide.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements as they pertain to U.S. GAAP, with a focus on Revenue Recognition
• Work closely with manager to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals presented
• Perform UAT as well as track and resolve any issues discovered during UAT
• Implement and document processes and procedures as required including SOX compliance and internal controls
• Evaluate accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support operational changes under the provisions of ASC 606
• Provide accounting guidance to project team and developers
• Support broader team in training efforts and overall transition to the new business models and system flows

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity
• Effective communication skills and ability to understand and present data
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working with RAR, SAP, and/or Business Objects or other relevant systems
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience in software or SaaS industry
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills
• Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers

Pay

For U.S.-based roles, the expected starting base salary is between $76,000 and $135,520. For Canada-based roles, the expected starting base salary is between $69,700 and $102,245. Offers are based on experience and geographic location and may exceed these ranges. The compensation package may also include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
