About the role
You are passionate about helping others secure their financial future. As a Senior Retirement Services Client Relationship Manager, you will empower clients and their employees to make the most of their retirement plans.
Responsibilities
- Deliver education programs and training to help clients and employees understand and engage with their employer-sponsored retirement plans, including guidance on payroll submission, fund changes, and other plan activities.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned retirement plans, building strong client relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and resolving complex issues related to plan administration and recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with clients to review and optimize plan designs, ensure regulatory compliance with IRS and ERISA standards, and assist with plan changes and enhancements.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of retirement plans, analyze performance, manage compliance testing, oversee government filings, and advise on employer contribution calculations to ensure accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree AND 4-6 years of related experience and/or training with a strong knowledge of ERISA regulations and retirement plan designs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Well-developed abilities and a proven track record in Adherence to Deadlines, Analytical Thinking, Attention to Detail, Communication (Verbal & Written), Customer Service, Problem Solving, Regulatory Compliance, and Client Relationship Management.
- Key Competencies: Customer Focus, Managing Complexity, Interpersonal Savvy, Instilling Trust, Managing Ambiguity.
Travel
Occasional travel to local branches or client sites may be required.
