Senior Residential Counselor

About the role

The Senior Residential Counselor is responsible for providing comprehensive support and guidance to residents in a residential setting. This includes facilitating daily activities, ensuring safety and security, and addressing individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily living activities for residents
• Ensure the safety and security of all residents
• Provide individualized support and counseling services
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement resident care plans
• Document resident interactions and progress in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a residential setting
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques

$X per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
