Senior Research Scientist : Phosphorus in Agriculture and Food Security

About the role

GPI is entering a new phase of growth, and the Business Development and Partnerships Officer is critical to our long-term success. This role will drive strategic partnerships, identify new business opportunities, and foster relationships with key stakeholders across the global phosphorus value chain.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic partnerships and collaborations within the global phosphorus value chain
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with GPI’s strategic goals
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry partners
• Develop and maintain effective communication channels with partners to ensure mutual understanding and alignment
• Represent GPI at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and expand our network

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or a similar role
• Proven track record of successful partnership development and relationship management
• Strong networking skills and ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Fluency in English
• Experience working in the phosphorus industry or a related sector is a plus
