Senior Research Associate- NGS

About the role

The Senior Research Associate will play a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies within our research team. This position is part of the Application Development team based in the Seaport District of Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research and development on NGS technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing workflows
• Write and maintain technical documentation related to NGS applications
• Present findings at internal and external conferences

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, or a related STEM discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in NGS research and development
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl
• Experience with NGS data analysis tools and pipelines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
