Senior Research Analyst, Financial Insights
About the role
You are a former buy-side equity research professional with exceptional analytical and communication skills. You know what it takes to model a company, evaluate a data source, and form a view. Now you want to use that experience to shape how the best investors in the world work.
At Daloopa, we are building the financial data infrastructure that public equity investors rely on to move faster and make better decisions and we need someone who understands that world from the inside to help us tell that story.
Responsibilities
- Own our financial insights function that reinforces Daloopa’s position.
- Conducting benchmark studies, producing thought leadership, evaluating competitors, and partnering with internal teams to turn your work into content that drives demand and reinforces Daloopa's position as the category leader.
- Deliver a range of compelling insights to buy-side and sell-side investment professionals, strengthen Daloopa's brand, and generate demand.
- Design and execute structured benchmark research studies that evaluate the accuracy and quality of financial data platforms, including Daloopa's competitors.
- Monitor trends across investment research, identify timely topics, and create high-impact content (e.g., blog posts, webinars, white papers, research reports, long-form content) focused on analyst workflows and the applications of financial datasets in order to highlight the value of Daloopa’s product offering.
- Work with our product marketing team to incorporate key insights into enablement collateral as well as product positioning and narratives.
- Serve as the go-to subject matter expert on investment research workflows both internally and externally.
- Translate complex financial data concepts into clear, compelling assets that a portfolio manager or research analyst will actually read.
Requirements
You have 3–5 years of quantamental equity research experience. You know financial statements, valuation methodologies, earnings analysis, and what it actually takes to build a research process.
You are a former buy-side professional. You have sat on the other side of the table and understand how investors evaluate data and make decisions.
You write. Not just clearly, really well. You can produce polished, publication-ready content without a lot of back and forth.
You are comfortable with ambiguity and can manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing quality.
You have a high familiarity with fundamental and market data sources such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, or comparable.
You are curious about where the industry is going. You follow developments in AI, machine learning, and data infrastructure as they apply to financial analysis.
Prior experience producing externally published research: benchmark studies, competitive intelligence reports, or institutional notes is a strong plus.
Marketing knowledge is helpful but not required.
