Senior Representative - Outside Sales (Electrical Construction)

About the role

At Wesco, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to building, connecting, powering, and protecting the world. As a Senior Representative - Outside Sales, you will play a crucial role in increasing sales and margins for the Company's products and services.

Responsibilities

• Qualify accounts by determining market potential and providing periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Execute and expand assigned customer account plans, collaborating with management.
• Drive account growth and retention through sales/supplier plans and joint sales calls.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and provide quotations directly or in conjunction with the sales support team.
• Mentor the sales team and communicate relevant information and expectations for optimal customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record required.
• High School Degree or Equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years outside sales experience required, 4 years industry experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers, work flexible schedules, and occasional overnight travel.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication, and strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques is preferred.

Benefits

Compensation details include a base salary range of $89,928 - $121,403 annually, with the opportunity to earn additional commission based on sales performance.
