About the role

As a Senior Render Engineer, you will be building the future of our rendering system, which is the cornerstone of all our products. Your work will directly impact the performance, quality, and user experience of our cutting-edge technologies. You will play a key role in optimizing our video processing pipeline, enabling low-latency streaming, and pushing the boundaries of audio and video processing.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize video processing pipelines for low-latency streaming and high-performance rendering.
  • Develop and enhance rendering systems using low-level graphics APIs (OpenGL, Metal, DirectX).
  • Improve audio and video signal processing workflows for live broadcasting and online platforms.
  • Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and rendering challenges in multi-threaded environments.
  • Integrate video and audio processing capabilities using libraries like FFmpeg.
  • Ensure compatibility and quality across diverse broadcast standards (AAC, ProRes, H.265, MPEG-DASH, HLS, SRT, etc.).
  • Optimize rendering performance across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux) and embedded systems.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in real-time rendering and performance optimization.
  • Extensive experience with multi-threaded rendering and complex system optimization.
  • Proficiency in low-level graphics APIs such as OpenGL, Metal, and DirectX.
  • Deep expertise in C++ as a primary programming language.
  • Familiarity with video streaming technologies and low-latency video processing.

Qualifications

  • Experience with FFmpeg and integrating video/audio processing into applications.
  • Understanding of video and audio signal processing for streaming workflows.
  • Background in streaming or editing video for live broadcasting or online platforms.
  • Knowledge of embedded programming and hardware optimization for specific platforms.
  • Experience with broadcast audio/video standards (AAC, ProRes, H.265, MPEG-DASH, HLS, SRT, compression formats).
  • Familiarity with rendering on Windows, macOS, and Linux, including platform-specific optimizations.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a passion for efficient, scalable rendering systems.
