Senior Remediation Project Manager

Weston Solutions, Inc. · Edison, NJ · 1 mo ago
Information Technology$111k–$183k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The description includes intro paragraphs about Weston Solutions, then specifics about role. We need headings:

for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We should include only sections that have real content. We need to parse the posting. Content: - Intro: "At Weston Solutions, Inc. you will do meaningful work..." This is about the company and role. Could be "About the role" or maybe "About Weston". The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have "About the role" heading. - Then location: "Location: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Ohio, Maryland". This is location info; could be part of About the role or maybe separate? Not a heading. - Then "Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:" list of requirements. This could be "Requirements" or "Qualifications". We'll decide. - Then "Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:" similar. - Then "Responsibilities:" list. - Then benefits paragraph: "We fully invest in our people: Weston provides a generous, comprehensive benefits package program that offers employees high value options with solid financial protection, meeting the personal needs of its people and their families. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with base and matching employer stock contributions. Paid time off to include vacation, sick, holiday and parental leave. Life and disability plans. Critical illness and accident plans. Work/Life flexibility. Professional development opportunities." - Then compensation: "Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Location within 50 miles of Edison, NJ increases salary range to $111,310-$183,464. Salary Range: $104,027 - $137,901 - $171,462" Thus we have Pay section. Schedule not mentioned, so omit. We need to preserve all substantive info, not invent. We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. Not present. We need to not repeat job title as heading. We need to not put Job ID/requisition numbers. We need to use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. We need to decide sections: - About the role: include intro paragraph(s) about Weston and role description (maybe also location). Could combine location as a sentence. - Responsibilities: list from "Responsibilities:" bullet points. - Requirements / Qualifications: combine Knowledge, Skills & Abilities and Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities? Might split into Requirements (mandatory) and Preferred Qualifications. But instruction: prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. Could combine all into "Requirements" section, but we have both mandatory and preferred. Could have "Requirements" for mandatory and "Preferred Qualifications" for preferred. That's two sections. But we could also have "Qualifications" covering both, but we need to preserve distinction? The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; we can keep both but maybe combine into one section with subheadings? Not allowed to create extra headings beyond the allowed list? The allowed list includes Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We could use "Requirements" for mandatory, "Preferred Qualifications" maybe not in list but could be considered Qualifications? The list includes Qualifications as a possible heading. So we could have "Qualifications" for mandatory and maybe "Preferred Qualifications" as a subheading? Not allowed to create new headings beyond those examples? It says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but suggests those as examples. Safer to stick to those. We could have "Requirements" for mandatory and "Skills" for preferred? But Skills is separate. Better: Use "Requirements" for mandatory KSAs, and "Preferred Qualifications" maybe not allowed; we could put preferred under "Qualifications" as a separate list with a note? But we need to preserve the preferred info. Could include them in same list but differentiate with text? Might be okay. Alternatively, we could have "Requirements" for mandatory, and "Preferred Qualifications" as a separate heading even if not in examples; risk but maybe okay. The instruction: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It implies those are typical but not exclusive. However to be safe, we can map preferred to "Qualifications". But we already have mandatory KSAs; we could combine both under "Qualifications" and note which are preferred. But we might lose distinction. Maybe better: Use "Requirements" for mandatory KSAs, and "Preferred Qualifications" as a separate heading (though not in list). The instruction says "e.g." meaning examples, not exhaustive. So we can add. We'll also have "Benefits" section. We'll have "Pay" section. We'll not have "Schedule". Now craft HTML. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Let's draft:

    About the role

At Weston Solutions, Inc. you will do meaningful work and make valuable contributions. Employee-ownership at Weston is a path to professional growth and access to diverse opportunities in a highly connected community that works together across key service areas to make a difference in the environment. Weston continues to evolve and adapt to our changing world as a premier provider of environmental and infrastructure services for over sixty years. In both the public and private sectors our teams help identify, solve, mitigate, and manage critical environmental issues to help clients achieve a more sustainable future. We are hiring a Senior Remediation Project Manager that will lead complex, multimillion projects or programs for our Industrial and Government clients. The Project Manager assembles the project team, and manages the project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure Weston’s commitments and financial goals are met. The Project Manager engages stakeholders to build trust and aligns stakeholder expectations and relationships. Stakeholders are both internal and external, including client groups, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and vendors. The Project Manager leads PM development discussions at the local level, participates in the broader PM community across Weston nationally and is often a subject matter expert (SME) in a particular area. Location: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Ohio, Maryland.

    Then Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities

    • Manages project teams by clearly communicating expectations for project requirements, scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Manages projects that are large and complex in scope with multiple subcontractors and internal team members.
    • Identifies project management talent on projects and encourages their development and empowerment.
    • Provides strong technical leadership and mentorship for the team.
    • Sets a common vision and enable technical team members to be successful and able to identify their goals and individual contributions to a project.
    • Communicates with and aligns team beyond scope of work to maximize outcomes for all stakeholders.
    • Management and communication of project changes with the client and the project team.
    • Consistently meets or out-performs planned project profitability and metrics (NIBT, profit margins, DSO, etc.) on projects with moderate risk.
    • Manages quality and H&S to achieve zero accidents and ensure quality goals are met.
    • Assists with proposal efforts, including costing and profitability planning; offers value-engineering solutions.
    • Able to understand and articulate project scope based upon RFP and/or contract.
    • Proactive identification of project issues and development of options for corrective action.
    • Timely and accurate submittal of invoices.
    • Monitoring and reporting of the status of accounts receivable and recommends appropriate action on overdue accounts.
    • Compliance with WESTON purchasing and subcontracting requirements.
    • Procures additional follow-on work of varying types from clients/stakeholders.
    Then Requirements (mandatory KSAs):

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or geology or environmental related degree from an accredited university.
    • Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in the field of remedial consulting including soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, and vapor intrusion and preferred investigation, design and remediation/construction, environmental compliance management including waste management, permitting, monitoring, data management, and reporting.
    • Ten (10) or more years of project management experience on remedial consulting and preferred environmental/health/safety compliance management projects.
    • Knowledge of state and Federal regulations and ability to interface with regulatory agencies.
    • A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, Professional Geologist (P.G.), LSRP, or other like registration is preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop, negotiate and lead regulatory and closure strategies.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams with projects of advanced technical scope and complexity.
    • Promotes an environment where Weston team members establish relationships and build trust with their clients and stakeholder counterparts.
    • Ability to excel at managing scope, schedule, and budget.
But note: the line "A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, Professional Geologist (P.G.), LSRP, or other like registration is preferred." appears both in mandatory KSAs and again in Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities. We'll handle preferred separately. Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    Preferred Qualifications

    • A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, Professional Geologist (P.G.), LSRP, or other like registration is preferred.
    • Experience with complex remedial projects.
    • Knowledge and experience with PA Act 2 is a must: experience with Delaware’s and Maryland’s Brownfield and Voluntary Cleanup Programs is preferred.
But note: "Knowledge and experience with PA Act 2 is a must:" is actually a requirement (must). So maybe it's mandatory. The text says "Knowledge and experience with PA Act 2 is a must: experience with Delaware’s and Maryland’s Brownfield and Voluntary Cleanup Programs is preferred". So PA Act 2 is mandatory, DE/MD programs preferred. We'll keep as is. Now Benefits:

    Benefits

    • Medical, Dental, Vision
    • 401K with base and matching employer stock contributions
    • Paid time off to include vacation, sick, holiday and parental leave
    • Life and disability plans
    • Critical illness and accident plans
    • Work/Life flexibility
    • Professional development opportunities
But the original had sentences; we can keep as list items. Now Pay:

    Pay

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Location within 50 miles of Edison, NJ increases salary range to $111,310-$183,464. Salary Range: $104,027 - $137,901 - $171,462

We should not repeat location again; we already included location in About the role. Check for any duplicated lines: We have included location in About the role; we also have location in Pay sentence (within 50 miles of Edison, NJ). That's fine. We need to ensure we didn't miss any substantive info: The intro about Weston's mission etc included. The
