Senior Release Manager – Release Management & DevOps

About the role

Senior Release Manager - Release Management & DevOps located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Hybrid 3 days). Seeking a candidate with 7-10 years of experience in Release Management and DevOps, preferably in Media/Entertainment/Streaming. The role requires strong hands‑on experience with AWS, Jenkins, Groovy scripting, CI/CD pipeline creation, deployment automation, and stakeholder‑management/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end software release planning, coordination, and production deployments.
• Coordinate across Engineering, QA, DevOps/SRE, Product, and Infrastructure teams.
• Manage release schedules, dependencies, risks, blockers, and Go/No‑Go activities.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins CI/CD pipelines using Groovy.
• Support application deployments and release activities across AWS environments.
• Drive deployment automation and continuous improvement of release processes.
• Coordinate hotfixes, rollback activities, and post‑release validation.
• Provide release status and risk updates to technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7‑10 years of Release Management / DevOps experience.
• Strong Release Management and CI/CD experience.
• Hands‑on Jenkins experience.
• Strong Groovy scripting skills.
• Experience creating and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS and cloud deployments.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills.
