Senior Reinsurance Counsel

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the legal execution of strategic transactions, including commercial partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, and other corporate development initiatives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including technology (SaaS), vendor, strategic partnership, and data-sharing agreements.
• Support product development and strategic partnerships within the retirement and financial services ecosystem.
• Provide practical legal guidance while identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
• Advise on governance, marketing, compliance, ethics, and related corporate matters.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to drive business initiatives efficiently.

Qualifications

• J.D. with an active U.S. bar license.
• 5+ years of experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Strong reinsurance exposure
• Experience in insurance transactions
