Senior Registered Client Service Associate-Charleston, SC

Responsibilities

• Aids in the creation of client-focused business development strategies.
• Maintains and expands referral sources, including coordinating target marketing campaigns.
• Works independently to source and develop new client relationships to help financial advisors meet sales goals.
• Assists with planning and coordinating special projects for the practice, including client events for prospective clients.
• Provides consultation and education regarding the Raymond James and Associates platform to prospective clients.
• Supports the delivery of the client experience by maintaining administrative procedures and coordinating client requests.
• Researches and resolves moderately complex problems related to client accounts and inquiries.
• Maintains expertise in practice management tools and resources, client reporting, and compliance practices.
• Maintains strong relationships with key business partners both internally and externally.
• Maintains a prospective client database, gathering information and data on prospective clients.
• Assists with preparing analyses and generating proposals for prospective clients.
• Coordinates and oversees the transition process for new client accounts, ensuring proper execution of every step of the onboarding process.
• Partners with home office departments to leverage product sales and generate new business opportunities for financial advisors and to coordinate branch-home office workflow.
• Assists financial advisors who need assistance in selling products.
• May assist with the continuing education of team members.

Requirements

• Associates degree and five years’ experience in financial services industry or related field, or Bachelor’s degree and one to two years’ experience in the financial services industry, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training as approved by Human Resources.
• SIE required, with an exemption or grandfathering not applicable.
• Series 7, Series 63, 65, and/or 66 as required by state.
