Senior Region Network Integration Specialist

Position Location: Must be located a commutable distance to a Siemens office in the Southeast Region including Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, or Florida. Must be near a major airport for up to 50% travel throughout the Southeast United States.

As a Region Network Integration Specialist, you will lead technical delivery for complex network or integration projects, impacting start-up, commissioning, job schedules, and customer acceptance. Your work will help reduce labor time, improve customer satisfaction, and contribute to a more sustainable future by enhancing occupant comfort, efficient operation of building systems, and reduction in energy consumption and operating costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery for complex network or integration projects.
• Coordinate with Specialists from Solutions or Service, ATS, and Field Technical Support Engineer personnel as needed.
• Analyze customer and company system requirements for use and integration, then recommend and implement technical solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrated products and devices.
• Diagnose and resolve network or integration technical problems on customer sites and provide appropriate reports to management.
• Coordinate installations and/or upgrades of company systems with Customers' IT Department.
• Troubleshoot network, software, and hosted system malfunctions.
• Share high-level competence on Networking, Network Architecture, and other software and hardware solutions.
• Develop innovative and creative solutions and share them with others.
• Maintain technical expertise on all new products, tools, and gateways through continuing education initiatives.
• Mentor newer employees.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Networks, 3rd party systems, Workstation/Server, Router, and IT protocols and their use in building technology (BT) offerings.
• Experience with Network Architecture (routers, switches), Network Configuration, and server setup.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or other related technical field (preferred).
• Current and in-depth understanding of Siemens product software (preferred).
• CISCO Certified or MCSE certification (preferred).
• On-the-job experience with HVAC control, Fire systems, Security system applications, engineering, installation, service, and problem resolution (preferred).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $57,120 - $97,920 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
