Cyber Operations & Red Teaming
- Conduct full-spectrum cyber operations and red team engagements across a variety of customer environments.
- Apply penetration testing, network analysis, and adversary emulation techniques to identify vulnerabilities and assess security posture.
- Utilize digital forensics and investigative methodologies to support mission objectives and technical assessments.
- Analyze networks, systems, applications, and documentation to identify security weaknesses and operational opportunities.
Technical Innovation & Capability Development
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of tools and capabilities that support cybersecurity operations.
- Research, evaluate, and implement technical solutions to address complex customer challenges.
- Work alongside engineers and operators to develop requirements and build effective mission-focused solutions.
- Leverage emerging technologies, methodologies, and tradecraft to improve operational effectiveness.
Customer Engagement & Collaboration
- Interface directly with customers to present findings, provide feedback, and communicate technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with teammates to solve challenging technical problems and develop innovative approaches.
- Contribute across multiple projects and technical disciplines while expanding expertise into adjacent mission areas.
- Support a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and mission success.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, red teaming, cyber operations, penetration testing, or related technical disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture and protocols.
- Experience with common penetration testing tools such as Nmap and related assessment platforms.
- Experience with networking operations techniques, including tunneling technologies and traffic redirection.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Batch, or similar technologies.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, LXC, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Linux experience, including system internals, setuid, LD_PRELOAD, initramfs, PAM modules, and related concepts.
- Experience with Windows enterprise environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of digital forensics concepts, artifacts, TTPs, and threat actor methodologies.
- High-level understanding of cryptographic algorithms and secure communications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience conducting full-spectrum cyber operations or red team engagements.
- Experience developing custom tools, scripts, or automation capabilities.
- Experience analyzing source code, technical documentation, and complex network environments.
- Customer-specific certifications relevant to the supported mission environment.
- Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence community, or national security missions.
