Position Summary
The Senior Recruiter serves as a strategic hiring partner responsible for full-cycle recruiting across engineering, manufacturing, and operations roles. This role blends hands-on recruiting execution with the ability to influence hiring strategy, workforce planning, and talent pipelines in a fast-growing semiconductor environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for roles across engineering (manufacturing, process, equipment), facilities, safety, automation, factory support, quality, supply chain, materials, production, technicians, and operations
- Execute recruiting strategies aligned to phased site growth and production ramp-up
- Partner closely with hiring managers, site leadership, and HR to deliver hiring aligned with business priorities
- Conduct behavioral-based interviews and evaluate candidates using competency-driven criteria
- Deliver an inclusive, transparent, and professional candidate experience
- Maintain accurate documentation, requisition updates, and candidate records with strong attention to detail
- Support employer-branding initiatives and represent Amkor at hiring events, career fairs, and community outreach programs
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of recruiting experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or high-tech industries
- Experience hiring engineering, manufacturing, technician, and operations roles
- Demonstrated experience conducting behavioral-based interviews
- Strong attention to detail in candidate evaluation, documentation, and process execution
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting site expansions, greenfield builds, manufacturing ramp-ups, and familiarity with the U.S. semiconductor talent market
- Experience administering or interpreting the Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment or similar tools
- Experience with military hiring, veteran outreach, or DoD SkillBridge programs
- Professional recruiter certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, AIRS CIR, LinkedIn Recruiter Certification, HRCI)
- Experience supporting employer branding, talent pipeline development, or community workforce partnerships
Location
This position will be based at the Arizona Tempe and Peoria sites during the Construction phase and will transition to Peoria for management during the Factory Operation phase.
