About the role
Joining an elite team from Uber and Cash App, you'll apply general intelligence to revolutionize human connection.
Responsibilities
- Own the full mobile surface including voice interaction flows, matching UX, and real-time state management.
- Solve complex audio engineering problems such as streaming, silence detection, and graceful degradation for voice AI.
- Collaborate deeply with design to translate high-fidelity intent into fluid animations and gesture-responsive interfaces.
Requirements
- Extensive experience shipping high-quality React Native consumer products where mobile craft and performance were existential to retention.
- Deep technical background in audio, voice, or real-time media features like WebRTC, recording, and streaming playback.
- Proven track record as an early engineer (employee 1-30) at growth-stage companies like Clubhouse, Discord, or Tinder.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with React Native and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong understanding of audio processing and machine learning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
