Senior React Developer

About the role

The candidate will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components.
• Develop responsive and cross-browser-compatible user interfaces.
• Work with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Implement state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar technologies.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts and application architecture.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues.
• Develop unit and integration tests using tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Stay current with modern frontend technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Redux/Redux Toolkit or other state-management solutions.
• Strong understanding of React Hooks, component lifecycle, reusable components, and frontend architecture.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous operations.
• Good understanding of Git and Git-based development workflows.
• Experience with frontend testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and browser compatibility.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js or other React-based frameworks.
• Experience with Node.js/Express.js and understanding of backend/API development.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with databases and backend services.
• Knowledge of microfrontend architecture.
• Experience mentoring developers and leading frontend development initiatives.
