About the role
This position is PartTime and will work 10-hour, Variable shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures using the proper radiation safety practices.
- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures for patients of any age group for diagnostic purposes according to department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards.
- Aid Radiologist and referring physicians as needed to perform radiographic procedures.
- Work closely with the radiologists, other modalities, inpatient and outpatient ancillary departments, and serve as a liaison to scheduling and referring physician offices.
Requirements
- Maintain required continuing education hours necessary to renew license/certification.
- Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- 5 years Hospital Clinical experience at the level of an expert user.
Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Must maintain required continuing education hours necessary to renew license/certification.
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved AMA school (preferred).
