Senior Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapy & Dosimetry

About the role

The Senior Certified Radiation Therapist performs patient treatments using advanced radiation therapy techniques under the supervision of Radiation Oncologists.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and charts before treatment procedures.
• Deliver precise and consistent radiation treatments.
• Complete treatments and coordinate patient scheduling.
• Utilize advanced treatment techniques like SBRT, SRS, Adaptive, and OSMS, ensuring accurate patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotations, with compensation for being on call.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and certification standards.

Requirements

• Completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Board Certified by ARRT (RT[T]).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in radiation therapy.

Skills

• Proficiency with state-of-the-art treatment machines such as TrueBeam, Edge, ViewRay, Gamma Knife, and Hyperthermia.
