Senior - R&D Tax Credits

About the role

CLA is growing and seeking to hire a Senior Associate – R&D Tax Credits to join our talented Federal Tax Strategies (FTS) team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist FTS leaders with the delivery of research and development (R&D) tax credit studies for various industries
• Willingness to develop a deep understanding of various industries including Manufacturing, Agriculture, Construction, Healthcare and Technology
• Demonstrated success in a business environment
• Assist managers, directors, and principals with client consultations, technical interviews, calculation review, site visits, and report development
• Mentor associates and other team members on their inspired career
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
• Experience in business services or consulting preferred
• Eligible to sit for the CPA preferred

• California: $87,000.00 – $146,000.00
• Illinois: $74,000.00 – $131,000.00
• Massachusetts: $87,000.00 – $141,000.00
• Minnesota: $74,000.00 – $126,000.00
• New York: $96,000.00 – $146,000.00
• Virginia: $93,000.00 – $141,000.00
• Washington: $80,000.00 – $136,000.00
