About the role
Responsible for conducting advanced research and development in pyrometallurgy to improve tailings management processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to optimize pyrometallurgical processes.
- Develop and implement new technologies for tailings treatment and disposal.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate research findings into operational practices.
- Write technical reports and present findings at internal and external meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pyrometallurgy or related fields.
- Strong understanding of metallurgical principles and tailings management.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and their impact on tailings management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
