Senior Quantitative Analyst

About the role

Victory Capital Management, Inc. seeks a Senior Quantitative Analyst in Boston, MA to develop and implement quantitative models for trading and portfolio management of fixed income instruments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quantitative models for fixed income trading and portfolio management
• Analyze fixed income portfolios using Bloomberg PORT
• Work with corporate credits, asset-backed securities, and cat bonds
• Utilize experience in the reinsurance market and insurance-linked securities
• Use Python, R, VBA, and SQL for data analysis
• Perform ESG analysis for fixed income instruments and contribute to portfolio construction

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Analytics, Quantitative Management, or a related field
• Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation

Qualifications

• Experience with Bloomberg PORT for analyzing fixed income portfolios
• Experience with fixed income instruments and markets, including corporate credits, asset-backed securities, and cat bonds
• Experience in the reinsurance market and insurance-linked securities
• Experience in Python, R, VBA, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience in ESG analysis for fixed income instruments and portfolio construction

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and quantitative analysis
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, VBA, and SQL
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$110,000 - $120,000 per year

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week
