Senior Quality Technician
Position Responsibilities
Performs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, and/or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure compliance to customer and regulatory requirements and specifications in regards to chemical, physical, and mechanical properties.
Affords assistance to Engineering in establishing testing requirements and provides test data.
Applies knowledge of engineering and science to conduct tests on metallic and non-metallic materials (e.g., metals, composites, sealants, adhesives, rubber products, plastics) to validate compliance with conformance specifications and provides consultation on related issues.
Applies existing techniques and procedures with recommendations and implementation for improved efficiency, or devises and develops new analytical test methods and techniques.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- 5-9 years of experience with raw materials testing
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Fiber/Void/Resin Content Testing on pre-impregnated materials
- Sample Prep – operating a CNC Machine, Lathe, table saw, band saw or grinder for metallic raw materials
- Operating element analyzers
- Tensile machines
- Sample prep of composite and metallic materials for testing
- Composite machining
- Welding background

Summary Pay Range - Senior Level (Level 4)
$60,200- $92,300
