About the role

Provides leadership for development and deployment of assigned business functions at a regional level. Manages operational process improvement through metrics, problem identification, root cause analysis, and developing and implementing corrective action. Develops basic to complex processes and process maps.

Takes leadership and ownership of driving continuous improvement, ensuring successful design and implementation of metrics, quality plans, Statistical Process Controls, and/or internal audits. Trains and develops plans for staff improvement, mentors for staff qualification and requalification.

Plans and conducts internal audits to ISO standard requirements, local, regional, international scheme requirements, and business-related audits (ISO 27001). Facilitates resolution of non-conformances by identifying owners, working with staff on root cause analysis, and implementing appropriate corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and document processes, including defining required activities, desired outcomes, and process expectations using UL SharePoint, LMS, and Power BI.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring the process meets established key performance indicators (KPIs) and achieves desired objectives. Provide support for internal and external assessments.
  • Drive continuous improvement, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, CAR Champions, process participants, and senior leadership. Provide updates on process performance, address concerns, and gather feedback to drive improvement.
  • Monitor process implementation to minimize unexpected issues, ensure compliance, and enable timely responses to issues.
  • Regularly report on process performance using Power BI and provide input for Management Review.
  • Lead improvement teams to develop complex processes and process maps.

Requirements

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience performing internal audits and working with accreditation bodies.
  • Demonstrated detailed knowledge of ISO 9001 and the 17000 series.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including presenting and facilitating discussions of audit findings.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt training/certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English.
  • Ability to travel internationally within a given region (Americas, Europe/UK/Middle East, or Asia Pacific).

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $107,200–$142,900, based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical location. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary.
