Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our quality engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites for UI and API layers using Selenium WebDriver and Rest Assured
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Core Java with TestNG/JUnit
• Perform API automation testing for REST APIs and microservices
• Execute SQL queries and validate database integrity as part of testing cycles
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Git, and Jenkins
• Collaborate with developers and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
• Analyze test results, report defects, and track issues to resolution

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Core Java programming language
• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver for UI automation testing
• Working knowledge of TestNG or JUnit testing frameworks
• Experience with SQL and database testing techniques
• Familiarity with build and version control tools including Maven and Git
• Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and automated test execution
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies
